Australia Pictures

Train ride to the city. Tell me his companion doesn't look like he is ready to go home...
Baptism of Nikora by his Uncle Brother Parraha
The Flat. Or as we would call it apartment.
Were Matthew has been sleeping for the last 5 weeks.
I bet he really misses his queen bed. Matthew just got a new companion (from New Zealand) today and has moved to a new area.
His new area is called Hoppers Crossing. Not far from were he was.
Nothing like living out of a suit case for 2 years.
We wanted to share.
We look forward to sharing more pictures as we get them.

Wild I know. Sometimes I think he will be home after school just like everyone else. NOPE!

Those are great pictures. It's exciting to see how 'at home' he looks in the pictures.

Just a few thoughts...

(1) did you notice what the sign above their head says on the bus--did those two Elder-ly mates do that on purpose?

(2) the kitchen: Are you sure that's not a stock photo of the one time the kitchen was clean that the Elder's keep re-using? :-) At least the bedroom has proof that its a current photo...if that is really is his luggage.

(3) A little more serious, now...are those matching bikes? Did he have to buy one when he got there, or did the mission provide it?...just curious

That's cool that he was able to see a baptism so soon.

Thank you for sharing the pictures.

The Bikes,
yes he had to pay($300.00) when he got to Australia for a bike.It is just a flat fee and I think it covers him for 2 years. So It must be a rental. The question is does he get a new one in every area or does he just take that one. I can't imagine biking into transfers and then biking off to a new area. Surely someone drives them so do they strap it on top of the car? Not sure. They look the same so maybe they just have bikes assigned to Flats.
