Pumpkin Patch 08
So I will start with the Pumpkin Patch. We went to the same patch we have taken the kids to for years. Lakeview Farms. They get to ride the train over to pick out there pumpkin and ride the boat back. It used to be that there was a hey stack maze and lots of pumpkins to choose from. This year was WAY different. First it cost an arm and a leg to get IN, then the ride over to the pumpkin patch left us close to a big field with slim pickings. They did tell us there was another field OVER THERE that we could go to. OK with 11 kids in tow we felt we could make due. Well maybe we should have taken the time to hike over. Anyhow we did get our pumpkins and lots of pictures so I guess it was all worth it. So here is the memories we would like to share with you.
then the trip to the boat is when they get smaller.
Needless to say Renee didn't make it to the boat before she left her pumpkin.
Then as we are standing in line we realize Mikalah and Renee's pumpkins were already rotting...
So that would explain the gourds.

This is me after I realized how much this little family outing cost.....$65.00
only 3 pumpkins and 2 gourds. ouch!
It is all for the memories. RIGHT?
It is all for the memories. RIGHT?
Next year we will be exploring our options. Do you have a favorite pumpkin patch you would like to share with us. Also on the LOOK out for a Christmas Tree Farm. Last year we ended up at the Safeway parking lot.....Not so good...
