Here He is!

We got a call on Monday that Elder Ball has been having health issues and was needing to return home early from his mission. His Mission President was sad to see him leave, but felt like he served an honorable Mission in the year he was in Australia. So after the initial shock, we started planning his homecoming.

Here the kids are with the signs they made for him. They were all so excited to see him and could not wait to give him a BIG HUG. This is everyone except Grandma (she was behind the camera) ready to Welcome our Missionary back home to Portland.

Here we are as close as we could get. We were about 15 minutes early so we had to wait around. Gabby and Jessica were getting impatient.

Then there he was flying first class so he was one of the first passengers off the plan. He was walking down the corridor and I yelled his name. Then he was shadowed by a bigger man and I had to question myself if it was even him.....Then we seen him and everyone let out a big Welcome home Matthew.
Gabby, Jessica and Renee couldn't hold back any longer they took off running. They were beyond the the sign that said "You May Not Go Beyond this Point" No one tried to mess with them.

Big hug from Dad, but checkout the ladies in the back crying their eyes out ;)

Everyone on the escalator....We were quite the site to see.

There he is, Elder Ball our return Missionary

He left with 2 bags and came home with 2 bags. He had to leave a "HEEP" of stuff there.

All the crazy girls going through the revolving door.

Oh and we couldn't take 2 elevators so we all hoped in one.

The little girls couldn't get enough of him. They all wanted to sit next to him in the van.

What is a homecoming with out a ton of balloons?

and dessert.

Our family was there, Grandma, Aunt Lana, Christina and some of the Peiffer gang.
Thank you for all your support for our Return Missionary.

Wow, how nice for you to have your son home. I was trying to guess if it might be him or maybe you were adding a new member to your family. Mystery solved!

Have a great rest of the weekend!
