Just an update.
Took our Pre-Adoption class last weekend. Just us and one other couple. Kind of interesting points of view, but nice couple.
Doyle went out of town on business Monday morning.
Extra kids went home Monday night.
Tuesday morning met with my personal trainer at the co-op in Astoria. Cool Store. After spending an hour with her and getting a tour of the store. She left I shopped, but not before getting cornered by some well meaning weird guy..... He must have over heard us so he had his 2 cents to offer. Good thing I'm not paying him. All I got from him is eat Grapefruit every morning first thing. Did you know if you eat grapefruite first thing before anything else you will trick you taste buds into thinking they taste good. OK had to try that this morning. They where not that bad after all. Oh and eat them like an orange so they don't squirt you in the eye.....
Wednesday spent all day at Policy Council debating weather or not our parent volunteers should have back ground checks before working with our kids. Our public school out here requires it now, but a lot of our parents at head start will not do a back ground check in fear of being deported. So it is a touchy subject for all.
Finished my Adoption Autobiography now for Doyle to finish his and mail it off. Hopefully that will be tomorrows update
