School Literature Night

Every year the kids make books, poems or some kind of writing. Then we go and the kids have the opportunity to get up and share their writings. It is always the question of what child will brave the crowd and get up and read their work.
The night has always started with a cookie and an Italian Soda.Mikalah enjoying her goodies.
The Vice Principal was walking around taking pictures. When she seen our family she had to stop us and get a picture. So I asked her if she would take a picture with our camera..
A Must Blog moment. It is always the big questions do I want to brave this alone and will I survive. As you can tell we did just fine and we didn't loss anyone. Well Mikalah was missing for a while, but hey at least she knows the way home ;) Right after this picture was taken Emaliee dropped one of the Italian Soda's. OK so we have to leave our mark every where we go right. So the Vice Principal was kind enough to clean it up for us. I think she could tell my hands were full.

Jessica didn't want to do this, but she did and we are so proud of her. Even her Teacher came up and stood next to me in amazement. Remember this is the quiet shy girl at school. Total opposite at home.
